Leah Wald is the Co-Founder and CEO of Valkyrie Investments, a specialized cryptocurrency firm. Leah is an economist with extensive expertise in asset management focusing on value investing, and a Bitcoin investor and consultant. Prior to launching Valkyrie, she was Vice President of Portfolio Management at Exponential, and a Partner at Lucid Investment Strategies, an asset management firm specializing in crypto investments. Previously, she was a Financial Analyst to the CEO at Vital Financial, where she spearheaded investment strategies for multi-billion dollar asset managers on global macro strategy. Additionally, she worked at the World Bank Group and co-founded Veterati, a mentorship platform assisting unemployed and transitioning US veterans to secure meaningful employment. Leah was also a contributing writer for Forbes where wrote the “Tales from the Front Lines of Female Entrepreneurship” column, and co-authored the book Hyperwave Theory: The Rogue Waves of Financial Markets.
