Anthony Scaramucci is the Founder and Co-Managing Partner of SkyBridge Capital, a global alternative investment firm, and Founder and Chairman of SALT, a global thought leadership forum and venture studio. Scaramucci is an acclaimed entrepreneur, financier, political figure, author, and thought leader ranked as one of the most powerful people in global finance. He is best known for his short tenure as the White House Communications Director under President Trump. Prior to founding SkyBridge in 2005, he co-founded investment partnership Oscar Capital Management, which was sold to Neuberger Berman in 2001. Earlier, he worked in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs & Co. Recently, Scaramucci launched FLATTER, a marketplace for premium NFT art, collectibles and experiences. He currently serves as a CNBC Contributor and hosts MOOCH FM, a weekly podcast covering business, politics and media.

  • Scaramucci served on President Donald J. Trump’s 16-person Presidential Transition Team Executive Committee.

  • In 2017, he briefly served as Chief Strategy Officer of the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank and White House Communications Director

  • He launched a strongly worded attack on Mr. Priebus, calling him a "paranoid schizophrenic."

  • He also directed profanity-laced insults at Chief Strategist Steve Bannon.

  • He was fired by President Donald Trump on July 31, 2017, upon the recommendation of the new White House Chief of Staff, General John F. Kelly.

  • Scaramucci changed his views on Trump in 2019, criticising his attacks on women of colour as ‘racist and unacceptable’. 

  • In June 2020, he joined with other well-known Republicans to launch the Right Side PAC. The group aimed to stop Trump’s re-election and supported his Democratic opponent, Joe Biden.
