Jim Bianco is the Founder and President of Bianco Research LLC, an industry leader in providing data-driven insights into the global economy and financial markets. A seasoned investor and market commentator, Bianco has built a decades-long reputation of being a recognized expert in macro, fixed income, and economic analysis. He has been providing objective commentary on the markets, free from the biases of traditional research in Wall Street. EARLY CAREER
Bianco started working in the bond market in 1987.
He served as a Market Strategist in equity and fixed income research at UBS and an Equity Technical Analyst at First Boston and Lehman Brothers.
He previously served as a national Vice President, chairing the CMT Association’s 1996 annual seminar.
He has been producing fixed income commentaries, which enjoy a circulation of portfolio managers and traders numbering into the several hundreds.

His research and commentary includes the money flow characteristics of primary dealers, mutual funds, hedge funds, futures traders, banks, and institutional investors.
He is also interested in how market performance affects mutual fund investors, the effects of commodity prices on bond yields, and the role of government regulation in determining inflation.
