Terrell Gates
Terrell Gates is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Virtus Real Estate Capital. He is a third-generation commercial real estate investor and developer who began his career in the student housing industry in 1992. Since then, Gates has held various leadership roles in real estate, law, and finance, including private equity, portfolio management, investment banking, and lending. Gates is also an active volunteer and philanthropist primarily focused on supporting at-risk children and addressing the root causes of global poverty.

- Responsible for sourcing, underwriting, due diligence, capitalizing, closing, asset management, and eventual disposition of 240 properties with an acquisition value of approximately $4.3 billion spanning 35 distinct investment partnerships or funds.
